Dr. Gordan Lauc is Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb. He was born in Osijek in 1970, graduated molecular biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb in 1992, and obtained PhD in Biochemistry and the University of Zagreb in 1995. He got his postdoctoral training at the Institute for Medical Physics and Biophysics in Münster and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Dr. Lauc is author of over 100 research papers published in international journals and six international patents. His laboratory performed the first large scale studies of the human plasma glycome (in 2009) and human IgG glycome (in 2011), which were the basis for the subsequent first GWAS of the human plasma and IgG glycomes. He was invited to lecture at numerous international conferences, elected for visiting professor at the Johns Hopkins University. Moreover, in 2011 he was inducted in the prestigious Johns Hopkins Society of Scholars. He chaired a number of conferences, including the “European Science Foundation Exploratory Workshop on Glycoscience” which resulted in the creation of the “European Glycoscience Forum”. He is a member of the Board of the International Glycoscience Organization (also the President of IGO for 2015 – 2017) and the Steering Committee of the European Glycoscience Forum.
In 2007 Prof. Lauc established Genos Ltd, a private research organisation accredited by the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sport that currently has 28 employees, including 17 researchers. Genos was ranked as #1 in the 2013 survey of The Scientist magazine for “The best place to work for researches” in the category “Industry” and received a Charter of the Republic of Croatia (awarded by the President of Croatia) for an outstanding economic contribution to development of Croatia by commercialization of research results in 2014.

Jasmina Lovrić, PhD is an assistant professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry. She teaches graduate courses Pharmaceutics, Biopharmacy and pharmacokinetics, Innovative drug delivery systems, as well as several courses at postgraduate PhD and specialist studies. Her current research activities focus on the development and
applicability of in vitro models in biopharmaceutical characterisation of drug delivery systems.
Ms. Cyntia Genolet
Associate Manager, Regulatory and Health Policy, IFPMA
Ms. Cyntia Genolet joined IFPMA in 2012 where she is responsible of the anti-counterfeiting portfolio. Cyntia also works on policy issues related to biotherapeutics and regulatory.
Prior to joining the IFPMA, Ms. Genolet has worked in Geneva for Sanofi in the Relations with International Institutions office. She previously accrued professional experience in Africa, South America and Switzerland for NGOs, international organizations and governments. She holds a MA in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and a MAS in Health Economics and Management from HEC Lausanne.
Dr. Roseann S. Gammal, PharmD, BCPS
Pharmacogenomics Clinical Specialist, Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC)
Dr. Roseann S. Gammal, PharmD, BCPS is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. She received her Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at the University of North Carolina Medical Center and a PGY2 specialty residency in Clinical Pharmacogenetics at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She currently holds the position of Pharmacogenomics Clinical Specialist for the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC), an international collaboration of clinicians and researchers who create evidence-based guidelines for how to use pharmacogenomic information in clinical practice.
Pernille Dam, cand. scient. san. publ.

Pernille Dam has been working as consultant R&D since 2005. Pernilles field of research is medicine use, adherence & concordance, with a special interest in the implemententation of adherence technologies to individuals as well as in health & home care systems. Pernille manages research projects within her research focus and has conducted a number of studies on “Safe and effective use of medicines” and has attended several collaborational projects with the aim of developing, prototyping, testing or implementing adherence technologies.
Djenane Ramalho de Oliviera Ph.D., PharmD
Professor, Department of Social Pharmacy, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil
Djenane Ramalho de Oliveira is a pharmacist, a researcher and an educator with over 20 years of experience with patient care. She has a master degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG - Belo Horizonte, Brazil) and a PhD in Social and Administrative Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota. She is a professor in the Department of Social Pharmacy at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where she teaches pharmaceutical care practice, medication management services and qualitative research methods. Dr. Oliveira is the founder and the director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Care Studies (Centro de Estudos em Atenção Farmacêutica – CEAF) at this same university. The Center has the goal to provide all the necessary support to individuals, governments and companies interested in developing and implementing medication management services in diverse scenarios in Brazil and internationally. Djenane is also an adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota since 2008. She has published three books, several book chapters, and many articles in international journals. Furthermore, she has been giving conferences and teaching about pharmaceutical care and medication management all around the world.
