Humanitarian
Every academic year is packed with events for our Association, but we are most proud of our humanitarian events. Year after year, our students follow their big hearts and selflessly respond to every event our Association organizes.
PANCAKEDAY
Pancake and Cookie Day is a traditional project, and it consists of students donating flour, eggs, sugar, chocolate spreads and jams, baking pancakes, cookies and cakes and selling them at the faculty at a symbolic price providing a rare opportunity for students and teachers to eat something tasty at faculty and, while in good company and with nice music in backround, do a good deed. Each Pancake and Cookie Day is intended o help families in need, unhappy children or a certain charity association.
Two more projects have been organized after the model of Pancake and Cookie Day: "Fritulijada" and Muffin Day

VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATING
Despite constant progress in science, blood is something we still cannot manufacture, without which life isn't possible. That is why, in case of serious wounds, bigger operations, transplantations or treating malign diseases, we depend on voluntary blood donors. Being aware of the importance of blood donations, our Association organizes traditional voluntary blood donations.
Our members, students of Medical Biochemistry, participated in another humanitary action called "Students for Ana Rukavina Trust."
Together with other students of University of Zagreb we helped collecting samples for the Register of voluntary bone marrow donors and we have raised awareness about importance of the typization of blood samples and making the Register bigger.
